In the final of the Individual Polish Championships and the 71st Alfred Smoczyk Memorial held on the track in Leszno, Bartosz Zmarzlik turned out to be the best. In the grand final the rider of Stala Gorzów defeated Maciej Janowski, Janusz Kołodziej and Krzysztof Kasprzak.

The final competition started with the victory of Wiktor Lampart, who defeated the defending champion Maciej Janowski. A moment later the fans witnessed a fierce battle between Zmarzlik and Wozniak which was won by the former. In the next race Janusz Kolodziej signaled that he will fight for another title what he confirmed in eighth race beating Janowski and Wozniak finishing the race with a big advantage. Third series confirmed aspirations of favorites for gold and races were won by Kolodziej and Zmarzlik, who defeated Janowski and Piotr Pawlicki, who after three starts had only 4 points. In run 13 Zmarzlik defeated Kolodziej and became the lone leader in the standings. The important three points in run 15 was scored by Piotr Pawlicki and he joined the fight for the playoff. At the end of the fourth round Maciej Janowski scored his first win. The last series of the regular season started with the win of Piotr Pawlicki, which ensured him a place in the playoff race. A moment later Kasprzak did the same beating Zmarzlik. Two other places in the race were taken by Janowski and Wiktor Lampart.

Maciej Janowski and Krzysztof Kasprzak won the heat race. In the grand final we witnessed a great race and for the first time Bartosz Zmarzlik became the champion of Poland. The second place was taken by Maciej Janowski, and the third place after a fierce fight for Janusz Kołodziej, who in the end of the race defeated Krzysztof Kasprzak.
